LITTER and untidiness is getting worse say councillors in Tidworth and Ludgershall.
Tidworth cllr Steve Dagger said: “I’ve never seen Pennings Road in a worse state than it is at the moment.”
This week in Ludgershall, cllr John Hollis, said: “The pavements and roads are disgusting – there is rubbish everywhere.”
The unitary Wiltshire Council has responsibility for street cleaning in both communities but Ludgershall’s town clerk Janet White pointed out a problem in reporting issues.
She said: “Communication with any part of Wiltshire Council is diabolical.”
The meeting also heard that anyone getting in touch with the Clarence issue reporting system could find their query answered in Scotland.
