A COMPANY at the heart of Overton has received a welcome boost.
Security printer De La Rue, which owns Overton Mill, has been told that it is the preferred bidder to print Britain’s new generation of bank notes.
The company currently prints the paper notes for the Bank of England but will make the switch to plastic notes in 2016 if it wins the contract.
