PEOPLE in Andover will be able to enjoy a wide range of ales from across the globe during a 17-day beer festival at one of the town’s most popular pubs.

The John Russell Fox will host the event as part of a national campaign by the pub’s owners, JD Wetherspoon, featuring beers from as far afield as New Zealand, Italy and the Netherlands.

The festival opens today and runs until Sunday, November 2, with all beers priced at £2.25 a pint.

Pub manager Corey Thomas said: “The festival will give people the opportunity to enjoy a superb selection of UK and international beers, many of which have not been served in the pub before.”
