ANDOVER Trees United are calling for people to show their support in an organised photo shoot this weekend.

The community partnership, who run several planting projects around Andover, are hoping to attract funding for their future projects and want people to come along and show their support for the group by taking part in a photograph.

The group will then use the picture to try and attract funding for their current and future projects – which already include Harmony Woods in Enham among others.

Chairperson for the group, Wendy Davis, said: “Our three year funding from DEFRA runs out this year and we need to attract funding from other groups.

“We are hoping to partner up with new groups and if we can submit a good photograph to go with our bids they are more likely to be successful.

“One photograph can say a lot and it’s a great way of showing that we are a popular group that other groups should support.”

Those wishing to help Andover Trees United can do so by joining them at Harmony Woods at 10pm on Sunday.
