POLICE have released further details about an incident near to an Andover Sainsbury's store yesterday afternoon.
As previously reported on the Advertiser's website, Andover Police recently tweeted a picture of several patrol cars and an ambulance attending an incident near to Sainsbury's Shepherds Spring Lane store.
The tweet suggested the incident was in relation to a 'concern for welfare call' received around 3pm on Friday 24 April.
Hampshire Constabulary have now confirmed this was the case and say that the call involved a woman who was involved in a verbal dispute - believed to be with someone known to her.
Police also say that paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service checked the woman before leaving the scene shortly after 4pm.
