A FALLEN tree is causing havoc for some residents in Andover as it continues to block to only entrance to a housing estate.
The tree, which is located on the entrance to Constable Court, Artists Way, fell down earlier this afternoon completely blocking the road to cars and even making it difficult for pedestrians to pass.
The situation is causing havoc for residents in Constable Court who cannot enter or leave the cul-de-sac in a vehicle.
One passer-by said: "It's not like you see this every day.
"It's not even like we've had bad weather - It hasn't rained heavily since the weekend.
"It's not passable though - I've seen one car drive on the grass verge and through the trees but it's difficult."
Although it is unclear why the tree fell down, it is believed it could be a form of rot.
It also appears that someone has attempted to clear the top branches of the tree in order to allow cars to pass - however this has been unsuccessful.
Hampshire Constabulary have been alerted to incident.
