A GROUP of birds have helped to "deter" burglars who attempted to break in to a non-domestic property in Andover.
The incident, which reportedly took place early this morning (Monday 27 July), occurred after burglars broke in to a purpose built bird of prey aviary in the Bere Hill Crescent area.
None of the birds were taken and police claim they acted as a deterrent during the raid.
