Police remove 15 'illegal immigrants' from a lorry on A303 near Barton Stacey
POLICE have intercepted a large group of 'suspected migrants' hiding in a lorry on the A303 near Barton Stacey - according to eyewitnesses at the scene.
The witnesses claim that around 15-20 males were removed from a lorry at around 7.30pm on Friday 4 September, after the vehicle was pulled into a lay-by close to the Barton Stacy turnoff.
There are said to be a large number of emergency service vehicles present including both police and ambulance crews.
The services are yet to comment on the incident.
