SAINSBURY'S could open their third Andover store if controversial plans to convert a derelict former car showroom into a new mini retail park are given the go ahead next week.

The supermarket giants have exclusively confirmed to the Andover Advertiser that they are in talks to rent a new retail unit, which will be built as part of plans to re-develop the former Haydon Cars dealership on Salisbury Road.
