A WEYHILL Road man has been given a suspended sentence after driving without due care and attention along Porters Close.
David Kevin Knott admitted to driving the Rover 25 without due care and attention during an incident in December.
The 54-year-old also pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified without insurance and MOT certificate when he appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court recently.
Knott was sentenced to four weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, because the offence was aggravated by his previous conviction and "terrible driving record".
He was also given a curfew for eight weeks, ordered to pay £200 compensation and disqualified from driving for six months.
