A man in his 30s has been arrested after a woman was assaulted in Tidworth yesterday.
The incident took place between 7.20pm and 7.35pm on Tuesday 19 July in Pennings Road.
A woman in her 30s was assaulted and sustained minor injuries.
Officers would like to speak to two men who were in a vehicle in the area shortly after the incident and stopped to speak to a man near the scene.
They were driving a red hatchback vehicle and are believed to be military personnel.
The vehicle was being driven along Sidbury Circular Road and turned right onto the A338 towards Salisbury.
PC Jonathan Brunt said: “We are really keen to speak to these two men, who may be key witnesses to the incident.
“If you think this may have been you, or if you know who it may have been, please call police on 101 immediately.
"Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously if preferred.”
