THE first autumn market is set to start in the town centre this weekend.
The first Andover Farmers’ and Crafts Market for the autumn season will be held in the High Street from 10am to 2pm on Sunday 18 September.
September heralds the beginning of autumn and the market reflects this seasonal bounty with a cornucopia of stalls selling food, drink, crafts and gifts.
Hampshire Game is back as is Selsey Willows Seafood, Greenfield Pork and the Chocolate Ladies.
Joining them are Succulent Garden, Greensleeves Lawn Care and Anna Valley Chillies.
The newcomer for this month is Amy Budd with an array of beautiful and fragrant soya candles, and there will be art and craft from Helen Buick Art, Moonstonehenge, Kirsty Colbourne, and more.
In the background you will be able to listen to Music in the Time Ring from Jayne Deer and Alex Krupa.
Leader of the council, Councillor Ian Carr said: “September usually has the perfect mellow weather to suit a stroll along the High Street, making the most of all the wonderful products on offer at the Andover Farmers’ and Crafts Market.”
