PARTS of the south are set to be hit by a "dense freezing fog patches" this evening until tomorrow morning.
Forecasters warn that areas, including Hampshire and Wiltshire, will have patches of fog forming this evening at around 6pm and carry on through the night until tomorrow morning until about 9am.
They add the fog is expected lift slowly and will linger for most of the morning and perhaps into the afternoon for some areas.
The yellow warning of fog will include "some locally dense freezing fog patches with visibility less than 100 metres."
Met Office officials have sent a warning asking drivers to be aware of "tricky" road conditions.
