TWO men have been charged after a six-year-old boy was struck by motorbikes outside Winton School.
Nathan Crocker, 24, of The Grove, Penton Grafton, has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, failing to stop after a road accident and failure to report an accident.
Damian Wernham, 23, of Dene Court, Andover has also been charged with dangerous driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
The collision involving two motorcycles and the six-year-old pedestrian took place in London Road at around 7pm on Sunday, July 17.
The boy sustained serious head and leg injuries.
Both men have been bailed to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court later this month.
A third man, a 21-year-old from Andover, was also arrested in July but no further action has been taken against him in respect of this collision.
