TWO youths have been jailed for a total of four years between them for a plethora of offences across Andover.

Louis Jack Timmins was sentenced to 36 months and Liam Floyd Robinson to 16 months in a young offender institute after the pair admitted to a racially aggravated public order incident in Andover when they appeared in Winchester Crown Court.

Robinson, 20, of no fixed address, admitted the racially aggravated harassment of a person during the incident on September 17.

Both Timmins and Robinson also pleaded guilty to jointly committing affray by threatening the unlawful use of violence during the same disturbance.

Timmins, of Camelot Close, further admitted to assaulting a police officer.

The 19-year-old went on to plead guilty to harassment in breach of a restraining order on two occasions earlier in September, to entering Camelot Close with a brick as an offensive weapon and to two counts of theft of alcohol with Liam Robinson for which Robinson was previously sentenced.

All Timmins' offences were in breach of a suspended prison sentence.
