Romney Road jacket thief ordered to pay compensation
A ROMNEY Road jacket thief has been ordered to pay compensation by magistrates.
Paul Alan Beattie admitted to stealing a jacket from Mole Country Stores in November when he appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court recently.
The 52-year-old was ordered to pay £50 compensation.
No costs orders were made due to lack of means.
