OVERTON cadets were celebrated at the annual awards ceremony in Whitchurch.
4 Platoon, Z Company, Hants &IOW ACF carried out its annual enrolment and awards ceremony at Testbourne Community School in January. The 30 cadets attended the evening, with 80 guests including representatives from the Royal British Legion, the county padre Major Mark Christian and the company commander.
Ten new recruits were enrolled at the event. They were: Cdts Othen, Martin, King, Witts, Exelby, Tuson, Chappell, Howard, McIver and Collis. Badges for shooting as well as Duke of Edinburgh badges were also awarded to the cadets who had earned them.
