Perfume thief ordered to pay back money from her benefits
A CAMELOT Close woman has been fined more than £100 after pleading guilty to stealing perfume from a High Street retailer.
Ella Jane Dingwall pleaded guilty to stealing two bottles of perfume worth £68 from Boots in November last year, when she appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court last month.
The 37-year-old was fined a total of £138, including a £40 fine, £68 in compensation and a victim services surcharge of £30.
Magistrates ordered the amount to be deducted from her benefits.
