RESIDENTS turned out to support their emergency services in Overton for an Emergency Services Day.
People of all ages flocked to the day on Saturday, 9 September at Overton Primary School between noon and 3pm, to learn all about how and why the emergency services are there to protect them.
It was not only Hampshire Fire and Rescue who was at the day.
South Central Ambulance Service were also present and Hampshire Police completed the event.
Children got to see the dogs that work at the fire station, as well as live demonstrations of what the emergency services do to help them. These included trying the fire hoses and seeing the engines.
