A 'ROYAL' pair came along to a charity's annual cake and coffee morning.

Andover Lipreaders welcomed Andover's Carnival princess and prince Frazer Foley and Chloe Winterbone and their attendants as they opened the annual cake and coffee morning on Saturday, 9 September at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, in Alexandra Road.

The fundraiser gained £142 towards the provision of lipreading and managing hearing loss sessions in Andover. The charity says the sessions are vital that to prevent social isolation among people with hearing loss.

Andover Lipreader’s Barrie Wickens said: "It was so lovely to see the inter-generational mixing and conversations as the youngsters stay on to enjoy some cake and chat."
