Tidworth Tesco hosted its final fundraising event of the year raising over £180 for its partnership charities Diabetes UK and British Heart Foundation.

An array of market stalls selling homemade crafts and even Christmas trees were lined up in the car park on Sunday evening, transforming the site into a winter wonderland.

This was the final event to be organised by the store’s current community champion, which rotates each year as do the charities which will be decided in the new year.

Tidworth Tesco community champion Laura Kitchener-Pain said: “Thank you to everyone who attended the Christmas Market and the stall holders who made our Christmas Market wonderful.

“Thank you so much for the wonderful events over the past couple of years and the Christmas Market was a very special event as it was my final event.

“I have loved my job as Community champion for Tidworth Tesco.”
