A CALL to arms has been made for a final push to make a £4.2m expansion of the town’s only hospice a reality.

The Countess of Brecknock Hospice has until the end of July to raise a further £100,000 to secure the commissioning of the project from Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The extension was approved in 2016, with the ambition to add 10 new inpatient rooms, extend the day care centre and provide extra facilities for patients, visitors and staff.
