RESIDENTS and visitors celebrated the best that Enham has to offer at the village’s fete.

Disability charity Enham Trust teamed up with Enham Alamein Parish Council and Smannell and Enham Primary School to hold a family fun day.

Throughout the day earlier this month there was a host of local producers and businesses which set up stalls to offer their products and delicacies.

There was also a dog show hosted by Green Lane Groomers, along with a tombola, shoot-at-the-goalie game and stalls from organisations based throughout the area.

Parish council chairman Leslie Francis said: “It was to bring Enham Trust and the community together and it was very lovely to see so many faces from the village.

“For me it was just wonderful to see everyone coming together and having fun - it made all the organising worthwhile.”

In total the event raised £1,514.41 for the Enham Trust through raffles, a silent auction and the teddy stall.
