Recycling centre

A MINI recycling centre provided by Wiltshire Council in the middle of Ludgershall may be removed because it is no longer needed.

With the extension of kerbside cardboard and plastic recycling across the whole of the county now in place all the items previously collected at the minicentre are collected from homes.

Wiltshire Council is looking to save around £250,000 by removing around 200 of these recycling facilities where tonnage is reducing – possibly including the one in St James’ car park which is owned by the town council.

The larger facility at Everleigh is also reducing its hours of opening.
