WHITCHURCH residents have challenged a decision to exclude a strip of land from a protected park.
Campaigners were left furious over a Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council ruling to keep a piece of land unprotected in the newly named Queen Elizabeth II Field, formerly Daniel Park, so that it could be turned into an access road for a future housing estate.
