Well done to Manuela for being chosen to open this new community shop. I am looking forward to using this welcome new facility for the town next time I am up that way.

Thank you for the comments, I was very happy and was indeed honoured to be associated with the opening of the Adelaide Convenience Store.
I genuinely feel that we could do a lot more to reverse the trend of closed shops in our town.

One way could possibly be, to encourage and support all our local traders, who already do a Stirling Job for us all, under the current difficult, economic climate.
By so doing we will not only be investing our monies, for the benefit of the local community.

But, we are also reinvesting in the future, of diversity in shops, that supply the services, that we the general public need. Neil opening this much needed facility on the site of the Borough Arms, helps to bring a little bit of that, to our corner of Corner of Andover.

Great to have a shop in this area that is open when the town centre stores are shut. Good use of space to get all the stock you could need and room to manoeuvre a pushchair.

The new Adelaide Convenience Store ios a great idea and I wish them all the very best. The Town needs more new ventures such as this to restore the sense of community in the Town. Who better than Manuela to open the store as she is teh very essence of the ideal of community in Andover

What a wonderful idea - a lovely new shop in the right place just when it's needed. This will really be helpful to the community and opened by a lovely lady whose heart is right in the community - we could do with a few more people like Manuela. WELL DONE !

Well I have been keeping an eye on this store since it’s opening, and I can safely say that the welcome is always genuine, the service friendly and obliging, and repeatedly I hear that they like the fact, that there is room to move buggies and prams / disabled motor scooters in the shop. For me personally I have found it has rejuvenated this corner of our town. With Neil’s eye for business I can see big a future for this entrepreneurial business man.

Two great things for the price of one. Firstly we have a new independent local shop that is not part of a national chain gracing a small corner of our town. And secondly our top local celebrity and all round fine lady Manuela receives some deserved recognition. Congratulations to all concerned.

A new lease of life for a much loved local building and lets hope all of the local vicinity support the buisiness.
Its great to see that including the local campainer has given her the recognition for the work she does in and around andover. Her links with the young people using the local park will help the buisness to be intergrated and respected good move on the new tenants part and lovely to see her given the recognition.
