Cake that!

Cake that! Cake that!

A CHARITY that provides books for the visually impaired raised more than £500 selling tasty treats.

Living Paintings held a cake stall at the Upton Spring Market.

Rachel Kent, fundraising manager, said: “We have never seen so many different varieties of cake in one place.

“We would like to thank all of our supporters who kindly donated this amazing selection of home-cooked produce, our volunteer helpers on the day and John and Sarah Mills from Parsonage Farm for all their support and kindness.”

The charity also held a children’s storytime session.

Rachel added: “It was a great way to raise money for our charity, which creates touchto- see books. These books have tactile raised images and audio descriptions that direct the fingers and are available free via our postal library service to anyone who is visually impaired in the UK.”
