A YOUNG man was freed from a car after he collided with a telegraph pole last night.
Fifteen firefighters carried out the rescue after the car collided with the pole on Churchill Way, Basingstoke at around 10.58pm last night.
The road was closed for over an hour while crews from Basingstoke fire station freed the driver, who was taken to Southampton General Hospital for further treatment.
No-one else was injured.
