Local hospice to benefit from national ITV charity appeal
A LOCAL children’s hospice will be among the beneficiaries of ITV’s annual charity appeal Text Santa.
The evening of entertainment, to be screened on Friday, December 19, will raise money to be split between six causes, including Together for Short Lives, which in turn supports hospices including Naomi House and Jacksplace, in Sutton Scotney.
The star-studded show will include George Clooney taking part in a specially-written scene of Downton Abbey.
Paul Morgan, head of fundraising for Naomi House and Jacksplace said: “The funds raised will help us continue providing vital care to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families.”
