THE North Hampshire Quilters pulled in the pounds for charity at an event this month.
The group held a quilt show at the Costello School, in Crossborough Hill on October 18 and October 19 with over 150 items made by members of the group on display.
A double bed-sized quilt, which was made by members, was raffled off at the event.
In a series of events over the last few months the group has raised £2,500 for Radcan, a charity set up to raise money for the new Radiotherapy Centre at Basingstoke hospital.
The money raised will go towards the purchase of equipment to be used at the centre.
