Open day at cricket club
A CRICKET club is holding an open day this Saturday to give members of the public the chance to try the sport.
Herriard Cricket Club, which is run by volunteers, will open its doors at Herriard Green from 11am.
Visitors can see the facilities, have a go at bowling, try out batting against a bowling machine or perfect their skills with the club’s coaching staff.
Refreshments will be served throughout the day and a fun match will start at 1pm.
