A NATIONAL charity is encouraging people to host a fundraising party to transform the lives of people with disabilities.
Canine Partners is encouraging people to hold a party to raise funds for the charity which trains assistance dogs to carry out tasks for their disabled partner, such as taking clothes in and out of a washing machine, retrieving items and fetching help in an emergency.
An online auction will run through October with prizes including two £100 vouchers for Waitrose Cookery School, a one-week ski holiday in the French Alps and a professional pet photograph, to raise funds for the charity.
