A KINGSCLERE charity will feature on BBC Children in Need tonight.
The story of Living Paintings will be broadcast as part of the BBC coverage this evening, which starts at 7.30pm on BBC 1.
The charity, which is supported by BBC Children in Need, provides touch to see books for blind and partially sighted people of all ages.
A statement from Living Paintings said: "We are so grateful for the amazing support we've had from Children in Need, and this is a truly wonderful moment for us all."
There have been lots of fundraising activities taking place throughout the borough today for Children in Need, including a superhero dress-up day at Kiddi Caru day nursery, in Beggarwood, a bake sale and face painting at The Hampshire Court Hotel (pictured below), in Chineham and an entrepreneur themed day of fundraising at The Clere School.
See next Thursday's Gazette for a report and pictures.
