TWO people have had to be removed from an overturned car following a serious collision near Overton.

The incident took place on the B3400 shortly before 1pm this afternoon (10 April) when a car collided with a bus on the single carriageway road between Whitchurch and Overton.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue, Hampshire Roads Policing Unit and South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) all attended the incident.

Crews from Overton Fire Station were on the scene and recently released dramatic pictures showing an overturned vehicle on their Twitter.

The tweet also says that two people had to be removed from the car and treated by SCAS.

Their conditions are currently unknown at this time.

The B3400 was reopened at 3pm today following a clear up of debris from the road.
