A LANE of the A34 was closed off this morning following an oil spill.
Police were called at 7.41am to reports of a broken down Transit van leaking oil onto the busy dual carriageway near Whitchurch.
Highways Agency attended and closed off a lane while the oil was cleared from the carriageway.
The area was cleared and the lane reopened shortly before 9.15am.
