AN APPRENTICESHIP roadshow rocked up to The Malls on Saturday.
The event run by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, in partnership with Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT), Queen Mary’s College Basingstoke ITEC and Basingstoke Consortium, allowed people to get more information about becoming an apprentice.
As part of the National Apprenticeship Week event, volunteers handed out leaflets which contained information about what apprenticeships were available in the borough.
The team from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, which currently employs 11 apprentices working across a variety of departments, were also on hand with an interactive game highlighting apprenticeships as a springboard to a future career with a team from BCoT also at the event.
