ST MICHAEL'S Hospice’s annual Big Wheel event will return to Down Grange Sports Complex next Sunday.

Starting with the 65 mile riders at 9am, riders will set off from Down Grange Sports Complex to spend a glorious summer’s day riding through the beautiful Hampshire countryside whilst raising funds for north Hampshire’s only adult Hospice.

There are five different routes, from the popular advanced level 65 miles, the challenger 39 miles, intermediate 25 miles, beginner 15 and the family five-mile route.

For those not yet ready to take on the five-mile route, there is even Little Wheel which takes place entirely at Down Grange.

Laura Hughes, events manager at the hospice said; “Big Wheel is our biggest fundraising event for 2018. We had over 1,000 riders taking part last year and always attract both families and experienced riders.

“We are lucky to have an incredible venue at Down Grange and stunning Hampshire countryside for the riders. This year we hope to see as many people as possible taking part and have our best year yet. We rely on the support of the local community to make this event the success it is.”
