STAFF at an Eastleigh dental practise are celebrating after raising £350 for a cancer charity.
The theme was 1980s at Boyatt Wood Dental Centre, and costumes included Adam Ant, a Rubik’s Cube and Sid Vicious.
There was also a raffle and the day raised £350 for Cancer Research UK.
Dr Peter Saund said: “Nobody likes going to the dentist and everybody is nervous so this helps to show our human side rather than hiding behind the facade of white gowns all the time.
“We are very happy with how much we have raised. In total over the years we have raised £7,000.”
It is the sixth time the centre has held a dress up day, with previous themes including Hawaiian, Christmas and 1970s.
