FESTIVAL Place jewellery store Beaverbrooks is undergoing a major makeover.

A temporary unit is now open just two doors down from the existing showroom in the shopping centre, where Beaverbrooks is trading as usual.

The refurbishment work is due to be completed by November with the store being expanded to 2,120sq ft, creating a luxury shopping environment, showcasing watch brands including Omega, Breitling and TAG Heuer, as well as an intimate diamond consultation area.

Simon Smith, head of retail at Beaverbrooks, said: “Our Basingstoke store is undergoing a major refurbishment which will see it significantly transformed and expanded by over 800 sq ft. “The high street is still a very important part of our retail offering and since opening its doors in 2002, the Basingstoke store has continued to be a key and valuable part of our business, which is why we’re keen to invest in the brand new showroom.

“We’re excited to offer our customers a more comfortable and spacious shopping experience and on completion, we’re confident the new store will be the go-to destination for jewellery-buyers in Basingstoke and the surrounding area.”
