SCORES of food lovers turned out to meet a famous TV chef in Southampton.
Rick Stein hosted a meet and greet with his fans at Waterstones in West Quay to talk about his latest recipes.
The celebrity chef, popular for his fish dishes, has recently written his latest recipe book From Venice to Istanbul and was in the city talking to devoted readers and cooks and signing their editions of the new book.
The book comes after the chef returned to the screen for his BBC Two show, which follows him on a gastronomic journey across the globe starting in Venice and finishing in Istanbul.
A lot of the recipes in the book are featured on the programme and shares more than 100 Byzantine recipes inspired by eastern Mediterranean traditional cooking and flavours from Greece to the Black Sea, Croatia and oriental influences of Turkish food.
