Sprinkles Gelato has continued to grow its ice cream empire in Southampton as it aims to be the number one for desserts in the city.
With a soft opening of its new store in the High Street, Southampton, the ice cream parlour has once again celebrated its rapid growth.
The new unit is the third in the city and the company’s business development manager, Rashidul Islam said it is evidence that the people of Southampton cannot get enough.
He said: “You would be surprised how many people kept asking me when we would open another Southampton store, so we are just matching the demand.
“It was great to have all our friends and family at the opening as they have supported us from day one, and it is great to show there where we are now.
“By having them all at the opening it is our way of saying thank you and to taste some great ice cream.”
The new store has created 22 new jobs in the area and Mr Islam said they are still currently looking for staff.
“Currently we have some of our more experienced staff at the unit training everyone up.
“But we hope to be fully staffed very soon and have yet another busy Sprinkles Gelato.”
