JOB hunters should book into Southampton’s Novotel later this month.

It will be the venue for the Echo Job Fair on March 20 from 10am to 3pm.

This free event will feature stands from an array of employers and training organisations offering a mix of full-time and part-time positions.

The Daily Echo Jobs Board will be displaying hundreds of current vacancies. Information on training opportunities will also be available.

Representatives from the National Careers Service (NCS) will be in attendance to offer advice to job seekers. The (NCS) will be on hand to offer support with the CV clinics a chance to have a one-to-one with a skilled professionals offering advice on your CV. and they will also be running three seminars: “How to Write a Winning CV” at 10.30am and 1.30pm; “Successful Job Seeking” at 11.30am and “Top Interview Techniques” at 12.30pm.

Attending a career fair allows you to network with other job seekers who may know of companies that are hiring for individuals with your skill set.

Events like the Echo Job Fair are a free resource for you to discover which employers are hiring and interested in your skill set in a cost effective, efficient manner.

For employers the Job Fair is an opportunity to promote their company and meet potential employees face-to-face, saving valuable time in the hiring process.
