FIVE staff at Hampshire law firm Paris Smith LLP are off to one of the UK's top hotel after winning a Willy Wonka golden ticket.

Over 200 staff arrived at their desks to receive an ‘1818 Bar’ chocolate bar; five random bars featured a golden ticket celebrating the when the firm was founded.

The five lucky golden ticket winners received an overnight package at the five star Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa, in New Milton, including use of the spa facilities, dinner and breakfast for two.

Peter Taylor, managing partner of Paris Smith said: “We really believe in nurturing our team and inspiring them to reach their full potential. Looking after our staff and rewarding them is part of our culture. We’re planning to celebrate our 200th year in style and this was the first part of that, giving back to those who make the firm what it is."

The five golden ticket winners were Sarah Jessup, a legal assistant in tax and estate planning, Lisa Fairway, a solicitor in commercial property, Karen Ryves, a secretary in commercial property and Rebecca Buckett, a secretary in commercial property all from the firm’s Southampton office and George Harrold, a paralegal in commercial property at the Winchester office.

One of the winners, Rebecca Buckett said: "I was so delighted to win. My son has been in hospital recently so I am thoroughly looking forward to a night in the hotel, it couldn't have come at a better time."
