A SUMMER pavilion has been opened at a business park to host a variety of events.

Chineham Park has opened the creation on a field in front of the Central 40 unit which has room for 300 people.

The pavilion is a stretch tent which uses a modular steelwork system to create a contemporary structure.

Wendy Scott, customer manager at Chineham Park, said: “We are expanding the number of customer events we hold on the park and the pavilion gives us the space and flexibility to host a wide variety of activities from our hanging basket masterclass to our hugely popular Summer Fun Day.

"The pavilion will also be open for individuals to use for alfresco lunches, impromptu one-to-ones or just some time-out in an outdoor environment.”

It is expected that the pavilion will be open throughout the summer and, depending on the weather, be stored for the winter from sometime in October.
