REVELLERS have been pouring into Eastleigh this week during a nine-day entertainment extravaganza.
A teddy bears’ party, a funfair, wacky races, bands and a colourful grand procession are just a few of the highlights at Eastleigh Carnival that started on Saturday.
The 120th annual event kicked off with a fair, a baby show and a fancy dress competition and will draw to a close this Sunday with a carnival quiz.
One of the major attractions for children will be the Balloon Doctor, aka magician Wayne Shakespeare, who will be employing all his skills and entering three different carnival categories this year.
He will be making a wedding dress, a vintage car and a train out of balloons with some of his most complicated designs taking more than 100 colourful inflatables.
