FIREFIGHTERS spent an hour battling to control a car fire in the early hours of this morning.
Crews from Eastleigh fire station rushed to the blaze in Bournemouth Road, at 5am, just yards from the Asda superstore.
The car was so severely burnt out that firefighters were unable to identify the make of car, which had been dumped there.
The fire is being treated as arson.
