HOLLYWOOD stars will again be filming Les Miserables in Winchester tonight.

The shooting goes behind the closed gates of Winchester College after Thursday’s scenes in College Street.

Russell Crowe, who was on set this morning until 5am, tweeted this afternoon: “A few people saying they stayed up all night in Winchester. Mmm, there was nobody about when I was patrolling the streets.”

He returns to the college but it was unclear which of the other stars such as Hugh Jackman and Anna Hathaway will also be on set.

To a tweet from Film Hampshire, the county council unit that promotes Hampshire as a location, Mr Crowe replied: “Nice of you to have us Film_Hampshire, amazing location we are shooting in.”

Barricade Productions, which is making the film set for December release, was unavailable for comment.

Winchester College has welcomed in the film crews as it is currently still the Easter holidays.

Tonight is the last day of filming at the college.
