ROMSEY Rapids leisure centre is going Chinese this weekend.
Bosses at Valley Leisure are marking the Chinese New Year with open afternoons both Saturday and Sunday.
There will be a Chinese-themed buffet and good luck gifts will be handed out to Rapids visitors as the leisure pool celebrates the Year of the Snake each day between 1pm and 4pm.
“The Chinese New Year is all about celebrating luck and wishing luck, health and happiness, and so are we. It seemed like an ideal time to invite people in to see how they too can get fitter in the year to come,” said Carolann Townley, physical activities development manager at The Rapids.
Carolann added that visitors will also all be given fun fitness themed fortune cookies and red envelopes with money off vouchers.
