A FATHER has demanded the resignation of a head teacher amid claims a special needs school failed to protect his daughter.
It comes after Ofsted identified a number of failings at the Stanbridge Earls School in Romsey.
Ofsted was asked by the Department of Education to carry out an emergency inspection in the wake of a damning report which claimed the school failed to protect a vulnerable teenager who was allegedly groomed with explicit texts and sexually abused by a student.
The report by the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal found that the school had discriminated against her and accused head teacher, Peter Trythall, of a “failure of responsibility”.
