Go-ahead given for 39 homes at Ampfield
11:28am Wednesday 28th August 2013 in News
CONTROVERSIAL plans for a “village green” development of 39 houses in a quiet Test Valley community were given the go-ahead last night (Tuesday).
Test Valley Borough Council's southern area planning committee voted 9-6 in favour of the proposals that will see homes built at Morleys Lane in Ampfield.
The plans submitted by the Perbury Group and Hyde Group had won support from planning officers who recommended councillors to give their permission, as well as Ampfield Parish Council.
However, more than 30 letters of opposition were sent to the council.
